Excellent

The ASUS ROG Strix Z690-A Gaming Wifi D4 has a striking, mostly white appearance and offers quite a bit extra compared to cheaper motherboards.

BEST PERFORMANCE

ASUS ROG STRIX Z690-A GAMING WIFI D4 is a mid-range gaming motherboard based on the new Z690 chipset, supporting DDR4 RAM, PCIe 5.0 support, and a full-featured Intel® Wi-Fi 6. Good for gamer and creator, also able to overclock.

BEST INNOVATION

Alza Gold Award

This board is the best and highest model from ASUS with DDR4 support. And given the pricing, availability, persistent birth pains and especially given the measured performance of previous and current generation RAM, I dare say it's the best motherboard for 12th generation Intel processors.

Alza Gold Award

For a really good motherboard with DDR4 support, which was great in clocking and tuning both CPU and RAM, I give our highest award, the Alza Gold Award.
